GREAT news, this is the ultimate for those of us wanting to shop on line using ApplePay….I can’t wait…just think, all those sites the children and grandchildren send for Christmas gifts will no longer be getting my credit card info….!!!! Just today, I had a policyholder call the office saying that PayPal had contacted her, a John Robinson had tried opening an account in his name (John Robinson) but using her bank account number and routing number…..she didn’t “think” I would do such a thing so her only recourse was to change he account number…but how did they get her info. in the first place? If it’s still operative the new account number may be as open door as the old one….ApplePay will eliminate all this. Apple Pay coming to mobile websites later this year: Re/code <http://www.reuters.com/> .w photo (Reuters) - Apple Inc will integrate Apple Pay with its Safari browser later this year, allowing users to make purchases from mobile websites, technology website Re/code reported, citing sources. The mobile payments system will be available to shoppers who use iPhone and iPad models that have the company's fingerprint technology, Re/code reported. The iPhone maker is also informing potential partners that Apple Pay's expansion to mobile websites will be ready before this year’s holiday shopping season, Re/code said. Finally, did any of you in our area get the mailing from TimeWarner? Seems the Google fiber scare is causing a bit of polishing of their offerings. I currently have the 50 meg down with 5 meg up…that will be increasing to 300 meg down, 20 meg up and NO INCREASE IN COST. All I have to do is call for the new modem. If you have the standard 15/1 that will go to the 50/5. The 20/2 will go to 100/10, and the 30/5 will go to 200/20….and the bold header says at no extra cost to our current plan. They will notify us when it’s available in our area…. Don’t you love competition, or even the threat of it!!
