I'm running Mac OS X 10.8.5 with iPhoto '11 (9.4.3). Holding down the option key while opening on iPhoto in order to choose another library (eg photos taken in 2010 or 2012) I get the following. The desired library opens but if I had last closed it with information (i) open it immediately crashes. This limits me to access to certain libraries. Also if I have a library open and click on the "i" to open information, iPhoto crashes.
Any suggestions? Is there some way I can get to the jpegs that are int the iPhoto libraries? I know I used to be able todo so but Apple, in its wisdom fixed it so one couldn't get to them easily. Any help greatly appreciated. I plan on upgrading both my OS and iPhoto - when I have time. Also wonder about the new Photos (I have both iPhoto and Aperture) and am concerned as to how the new Photos will work.
