Yeah, the gripe you have with Walgreens is something they have had since accepting Apple Pay from the get go. It's stupid in my opinion, and everyone else's opinion as well. Maybe one day if they can have a enough customer complaints they will drop the requirement for inputting your card pin. Until then it's nothing but a great big annoyance.
