You probably landed on a site with some malicious javascript.

Quit Safari and restart it.

Clear your browser history. Close all windows. Go into prefs and make sure your
“Homepage” hasn’t been redirected.

If that doesn’t help or you can’t get into Safari at all you will need to clear
the Safari settings in your user library with Safari not running. Please google
for the exact location to do it surgically. If you can’t find anything clear,
you can just delete everything in the following location EXCEPT your bookmarks.

<HardDrive>:Users:<HomeFolder>:Library:Safari

You will lose all your settings, though.

This folder is otherwise known as:

~/Library/Safari

The easiest way to get to your Library folder is by selecting it from the Go
menu (in Finder) while holding down the option key. The Safari folder will be
visible there. When you restart Safari after deleting everything, it will
recreate the stuff that it needs, and you can begin the process of
reconfiguring Safari back to the way you had it, sans bad website.
