For me I not only keep track of the normal items like spending, balance, cash expenditures, reconciling, proof of payment if ever required by easily searching, and on it goes. However the biggest advantage is at tax time. Once all the entries are made, push one menu & instantly all categories are available for the CPA to file my taxes.
