This is a message from macOS firewall. It’s wanting to verify the checksum of the program’s binary code. Almost all Mac programs have such a checksum. The default is to do it automatically. Check System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Firewall Options has the thing flagged correctly. If this message shows up after launching a program from a well-known developer, it probably means you either have the setting wrong in the preferences, or the binary has been damaged. L^2
