srm is indeed gone in Sierra. I think this is because Apple is assuming 
everyone has SSDs these days and it’s not really needed, nor is it a good idea 
to use, with SSDs because trimming overwrites the data and srm wears out the 
SSD with unnecessary extra writes.

Is "rm -P filename" not good enough security on a spinning rust disk?
