Richard,

I purchased the Apple watch when they came out. The back came off and Apple
replaced it with no questions ask, so I’m believing they knew there was a
problem with the glue.

The second one is still version 1, and I simply can’t get along without it…all
the Apple products work so well together….I always listen to books, using the
Apple AirPods and early this morning I was at Meijer’s picking up a few
groceries, listening away..the iPhone rang BUT you can answer it from the Apple
Watch, telling it to pass the call to the iPhone…which of course stopped the
book and I had the conversation…crystal clear on both ends and the AirPods.
Before I got out of the store my Dentist staff called to remind me of my
appointment tomorrow, again answered with the Apple Watch and after the
conversation the book started playing.

I mean how easy is all this. The store was loud so I double tapped the AirPods
and told Siri to increase the volume…I didn’t have to get out the iPhone or
tell the watch to increase the volume.

I have news alerts come to me on the Watch, I have my calendar on the watch so
the day is before me and the most current item will appear on the watch, tap on
it and the entire day appears. I have the weather on the watch, tap the
weather on the screen and it opens the day in a clock formation so you can see
what the weather will be for each hour of the day, tap it again and you have
the 10 day forecast..

I read text sent to me and reply, or create a new text from the watch. When
exercising and the iPhone is not on me because I won’t take a chance on
damaging it. I’ll tell Siri, on the watch, to play the next song, or play the
songs from TRON, or whatever as well as increase or decrease the volume.

I pay and pay with the watch at every store that allows, McDonalds, Walgreens,
Chick-Fil-A, Panera Bread, Ace Hardware, Toppit Pizza, Starbucks, Best Buy,
and on it goes…I want the safety of ApplePay and the watch is much easier to
use than getting out the iPhone.

If you go to the B&H Photography app and do a search Siri allows you to
complete the search with your voice and the items will be brought to you to
pick the one you like….scrolling through the list…

Tonight while checking out of Sam’s the young lad saw my AirPods and ask me
about them, he was very interested in how well they worked, then I told him I
sure wished Sam’s would allow ApplePay in the store, I told him I try to pay
with my Watch, and he said how he wanted the Watch…this is a good way to spread
the Apple gospel and for me that’s a priority.

One caveat, someone on this list told us that if you “agree” to the FaceBook
Messenger app. inside that form we are giving the “right” for FaceBook to have
access to all our data on our computer, so I never wanted to use that program
as I completely trusted the person that informed us….

AND, you never, ever want to get an App. from any site OTHER than Apple…that is
very risky.

While I was typing this my Watch vibrated and played a tone, reminding me that
I have an appointment in 15 minutes at a coffee shop…

It’s almost impossible to do without the Watch, the iPhone, the AirPods, the
iPads using ePub iBooks, and of course a Mac. Our world folds together like
one of those napkins folded in a beautiful design at a high end restaurant..
