This is a subject I push all the time, I mean I get aggressive with any place i shop…vs their competition. I bet I have written to Kroger a half dozen times, sending them articles like below, mentioning how much I now shop at Meijer’s.
I’ve done this with many establishments. It’s safe, it’s simple, it’s much faster than a chip card, what’s not to like about it from the consumer point of view. I had mentioned earlier that B&H Photography had gone to ApplePay through Safari, I wrote to them, thanking them for their service and have shopped three times since learning of their forward thinking. If Apple adds the ability to transfer money from one individual to another, or to a company via ApplePay (as I have heard they plan) then this will put them on more of a par with PayPal….and that also will be a big help in advancing the program.
