Hi
I'm asking for some advice, based on the experience of the group.
We have an older iMac - 27", 'late 2009.' The OS we have on it is
Mavericks - 10.9.5. I phoned Apple this morning. The Apple tech rep, after
seeing what specific desktop we have when I gave her the serial number, said
'Yes, your iMac, with all the extra memory installed when you purchased it (in
2009), can easily handle El Capitan or Sierra.'
So, my request for your advice:
1. Should we upgrade to El Capitan?
2. Should we move all the way to Sierra?
3. Should we first move to El Capitan, use that OS to see if we like
it, then make the decision to continue to Sierra?
I always like to wait awhile to upgrade to a new OS so that the bugs can
be worked out. (Have all the bugs been worked out of the 'new Sierra' OS?)
Thanks.
Chris
