Spectrum just raised my bill from $179.00 to $201.84…really.. I called to fuss and fume, they lowed it to $183.54 with no annual increase as had been with Insight and TimeWarner….this price is to remain.
Then we got into the upgrades. Spectrum will soon be going to 500 meg, only $40.00 more per month, AND supposedly they will have 5g Cellular in our area this next year…Cincinnati will have it this year and normally since we are in the same Southern Region as they we should have ours shortly after… Do I believe this, not the schedule, but it may be that instead of buying Cellular from AT&T or Verizon the 5g would be added to our Spectrum bill for coverage while in our area, 5g isn’t going to be available for a good while across the country so these speeds will be good locally… Right now Apple doesn’t have a 5g phone that I know of so hopefully by the next update we’ll be able to take advantage of the speeds offered. The Rep. said their 5g is coming in a bit greater then the 1 gig most are advertising…he said the ads are already on Cincinnati T.V. for the folks to begin considering. What seems to be consistent in our world is change…. John
