A final note for tonight. The iPhone X arrived by UPS today. As with everything Apple the setup was a breeze…the new iPhone was placed next to the 7+.
If any of you have every paired an Apple Watch it’s the coolest thing, the iPhone reads the Cosmo dust (for lack of a technical term) that is filling the AppleWatch face….from there the two devices talk to each other and reproduce all your information on the Watch setup. Apple has done the same thing with the iPhones….the X had the Cosmo dust and I put it inside the square on the 7+…from there I could walk away…EVERYTHING was completed for me. I had to enter the las 4 of my social and one other question… When it came time to do the ApplePay I thought I might have to go through the lengthly process of setting each one up again.. Not so, All 4 cards appeared, touching each one I had to enter the key code from the back and the iPhone communicated with the bank and it was approved….after all 4 were complete they all still showed up on the AppleWatch as well. All apps, all passwords, everything. The setup for Face ID was a breeze, twice moving my ugly mug around the circle and it was done….it’s been something to lift the phone and it unlocks…I went into a completely black closet…opened immediately, I couldn’t even see the phone. Learning the new gestures has taken but a few minutes, so far, so good. One thing I was shocked to learn, it’s quite a bit smaller than the 7+, it’s much smaller….I assume the next release will be an X+??
