I did go to printers preferences and attempted to add a printer.  And it 
connects via a usb port.

This is a pc printer and I am unable to find a Mac driver for it.


The Wine App that Lee recommended sure is neat. I am able to run the .exe 
program that came with the printer without installing  windows.

Way cool.
