Jonathan, I use Acrobat to mark up my data at the end of the day, as you know…I’m sure about any of the other programs would do the same.
Where I use it the most is scanning. For some strange reason Forbes and Fortune STILL do not allow download of their issues as a PDF, you can only get the printed version and the ePub for the iPhone or iPad… Not what I want at all, I want each issue to be saved for years… I’m left with taking a paper cutter and slicing off the binder (Really tough on some of the massive issues), then I pull out what advertising I can and use Acrobat to scan and run the OCR software across it so I can search for info. across all the past issues. I also eliminate the advertising that is opposite pages I want to keep so I drastically cut the number of pages stored. I’ve written to both publications yelling at them for being such a poor Corporate citizen, using our trees, the cost of ink, binding, packaging, shipping and mail cost and then ballooning our landfills…They must have a strong union contract that prohibits them providing PDF downloads as do almost every other financial publication out there… So, a great software is needed to get this correct… John > On Aug 3, 2018, at 2:01 PM, Jonathan Fletcher <[email protected]> wrote: > > I have been using PDF Expert lately and really like it.
