Thank you Ed, I hoped you would answer as I know how much you like TiVo.

Is there a way to move your recordings off the TiVo to a Mac? In 2013 our
grandson’s team one the State Basketball Championship. The broadcast had been
recorded on the Time Warner box & it later died, we lost the game.

Every so often there are programs that we want to preserve forever, which I
could do with a recording on the Mac, but am concerned that any other method
will limit me to the reliability of a box I can’t copy from or back up to an
external drive.
