If you don't want to go through Michael's suggested git gymnastics (or
they don't work as expected), let me know and I'll pull in the commits.

It's easy enough to add the Machinekit repo as a remote to your local
repo, but I'm not sure you can easily create a Machinekit PR (github
will default to creating PRs against the linuxcnc repo).  I was able
to "pivot" my personal linuxcnc github fork to point to the machinekit
repo by emailing the github support staff, but I'm guessing you
probably don't want to do that and I'm not sure there's a workflow
that allows (easily) generating PRs to both machinekit and linuxcnc
repos via github's "point-and-click" UI.
