Well I tryed to build an image, but is beyond my actual knowledge. I did manage to build uboot, but not kernel... The memory differences you mention are not so, bbp has 512MB ram and 4GB emmc, so it's the same to beaglebone black in that matter. I'll keep asking in the forum for someone to build an image but there's too little people...
