Hello I am trying to control sanyo denki servo motor with machinekit and beaglebone black. I want to use step/dir signals for its rotation. According servo motor manual it should be 5v and transisotor should sink current to ground. I have done this circuit with arduino and 2n2222 transistor and motor works. But now if i want to use beaglebone this transistor is not good for this purpose. So maybe someone could suggest some optocoupler or some other solution to this problem. I also though about logic level shifters but than i would also need transistors which makes it quite a big circuit and i cant decicde which one is better.
Thanks for help. -- website: http://www.machinekit.io blog: http://blog.machinekit.io github: https://github.com/machinekit --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Machinekit" group.
