Dear Machinekit-Developers & users,
we are in the process of implementing a Machinekit instance to control a 
self constructed 3d-fdm-printer. As written above, we installed Machinekit 
on Debian Stretch following the manual on machinekit's homepage. A Mesa 
6i25+7i76 combo is to be used for hardware stepgen.

We have generated a simple HAL and INI-file (for XYZA), that works with 
axis GUI. However, we are unable to move the four axes with the 
Machineface-GUI. Everything is set up step by step following this manual 
(https://github.com/machinekoder/QtQuickVcp). When we click on a 
Jog-Button, nothing happens. MachinekitClient is launched on the same 
computer as machinekit installation.

Can you give me a hint, why Machineface won't work? If you need further 
information, I'm glad to provide it.

Another question:
Where in the source-files of machinekit is the calculation for velocity 
extrusion? We managed to setup Cura+NGCWriter, but we would like to 
understand, what Machinekit does in the background.
