Bas, Thanks that was the problem. I deleted the PRU pins from the "loadrt hal_gpio" statement and added a note to the comment.
# load low-level drivers (must not include pins used by PRU) loadrt hal_bb_gpio output_pins=807,813,819,826,914,913,911 input_pins=809,810,814,818 I also cleaned up the configs to use Xylotex.bbio and deleted that section from setup.sh. That fixed this problem. So now I guess I should push my Xylotex config file changes to my github account and generate a pull request.
