Machinekit is a software which can run on variety of hardware. I seem to 
recallDevin Hughes posting somewhere that they use the FPGA+ARM code combo, you 
canget more info about the software side under machinekit/MKSOCFPGA on GitHub.

Maybe they did, maybe they did not. It's hard to tell one way or another just 
from the table. However, for retrofit to Mach3, chances are nearing certainty 
that you will not be capable of reusing this hardware.

They are probably using the QtQuickVCP framework. Try looking at the 
machinekit/qtquickvcp repository on GitHub

Even if you hate the MAD UI, be aware that this is kind of time hole. Estimated 
6 weeks projects easily turn into 12 months.
