Microsoft has a history of doing anything it can to convert Mac users to PC's, and this has included some underhanded, to say the least, activities. My own take on the issue of the administrator is that Microslick has been working on this guy. I've seen it happen in another academic setting, and it stinks.

If there is any way to look for impropriety, it is worth considering. Flat out, there is the possibility that this adminstrator might be receiving or has been offered incentives to switch. If he has, catch him.

PC's in schools suck, not just for teachers and tech people, but for students.
