Hi, I'm new to this list, but I've been on and off Dan's lists for years now.
I have an iMac that I did a clean install of OS 9 to repair other problems. After the reload I reinstalled Outlook 2001 and the it can't find the Exchange server. After messing around for way to long I followed the help files suggestions and downloaded MacPing and attempted to ping the Exchange server using the servers name, not the IP address. It errored out with a message that said the host could not be reached. Pinging this way works fine on other my iMacs. The name server addresses are all correct and I even attempted to create a hosts file. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
