Hi Karen,   I am a bit confused as to which hotel we should book into for this family reunion thing on July 19 and 20. Marion clarified the situation and the rates at the Brant Hill Inn in Port Dover; then we heard from you with rates for the Comfort Inn in Simcoe. The rates at the Comfort Inn would be slightly lower than at the Brant Hill Inn, but ONLY IF AT LEAST 10 ROOMS ARE BOOKED BY MEMBERS OF THE CLAN FOR THE TWO NIGHTS OF JULY 19 AND 20.   Personally, I think it is highly unlikely that we would meet all those conditions, so I believe we would end up paying the alternate rates that you mentioned, namely, $102.00 plus tax/night for two people, $110.00 plus tax/night for three people and $120.00 plus tax/night for four people/room. On the other hand, at the Brant Hill Inn (which appears to be a far nicer and more convenient place to stay -- i.e. restaurant in house, continental breakfast provided, conference/hospitality room available, walking distance to beach and other facilities, located right in Port Dover, Fish Fest, etc.), even if we didn't meet the conditions of booking the minimum 4 rooms -- not 10 -- the room rates will be lower than at the Comfort Inn in Simcoe. According to the information provided by Marion, the rates quoted to her would be $98.00/night for 2 people, $108.00/night for 3 people and $118.00/night for 4 people. If we do meet the condition of booking the minimum 4 rooms, then the rates would be $89.00/night for 2 people, $99.00/night for 3 people and $109.00/night for 4 people.   Based on the above information, we have decided to try for the Brant Hill Inn. If you would be so kind, will you book a room for 2 people for us at the Brant Hill Inn, provided it has a pull-out bed for a third person, in case Monica is able to come to the reunion. We of course would want the room for the two nights of July 19 and 20.   Many thanks to both you and Marion for all the time and effort you have put into getting this reunion organized.   Dave
