Ah, no.
Ask the natives what language they speak.
What "Christian" god do they believe in? They were here first, after
all. We just forced our way on them. Since we stole all their land,
shouldn't they at least be allowed to practice their own culture?
Ask the Quebecois what language they speak.
They were here after the natives, but before the British (or any other) white
man. The French have given Canada some of it's best icons (Guy Lafleur,
Sir Wilfrid Laurier) and help to give Canada it's cosmopolitan reputation (and
help to differentiate us from the US). Why wouldn't we encourage them to
continue to practice their culture?
There is more than just one language on this Earth,
and we English speakers are not of the majority. There is more than just
one religion on this Earth, and again, Christians are not of the
majority.
Patriotism is showing a love for your country,
and there is nothing wrong with that. However, is it relevant
elsewhere?
Tell me again why it is that language and religion
must have geographical boundaries?
..Cameron

Well said and I would believe that the majority of
real Canadians feel exactly the same way about our country Canada.
