BOY, HAVE YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG!  That intelligent marine was smart enough to detect the underlying obnoxious and arrogant attitude of the French officer, and very neatly and convincingly put him in his place.   Furthermore, everything that LtCol. Mary Beth Johnson said about the French, if not 100% true, is at least 95% true.   Too bad the French (pansy) officer didn't take her up on her offer to "go outside." It would have been great to see a female U.S. marine whup the ass of a male (but definitely not macho) French officer.
