Last week sometime someone inquired as to the use of a KVM switch ? I can report that the one from Compucable works just fine for switching 3 Macs. It cost around $60 without cables, I picked up all the cables for this it's use for $ 22 at a local supplier, making the total outlay about $ 82. Compucable will allow you to purchase direct from as in order to use you must have version 1.5 this unit will automatically switch video output, and suppliers of Compucable just can't manage to ship the correct product. I use 2 clone C600 and a II Ci with no problem all of these with a Viewsonic VGA. I looked into the DrBott set up but found it rather expensive, considering what the same unit runs in the PC world.
