Hello all.
I have 4 PowerMacs (7500, 7600, 8500, and a hopefully-not-dead 7250),
2 printers (LaserWriter 4/600, Epson 800), one slow old 56k dialup
modem, and a Umax 1220 SCSI scanner, all to be hooked together with
the newly aquired D-Link 10/100 baseT 8 port switch. Assuming that
the 7250 will boot after I put the new power supply in, and hope the
older version of Apple's networking software is still loaded, buy the
proper cabling (twist pair w/ RJ45 connecters, did I say that
right?), what will be the proper way of hooking it all together? The
7600 and the 8500 will be in the same room, with the printers, modem
and scanner; the 7500 is in an adjacent room. Opinions on or off list
are greatly appreciated.
