A couple of month ago, I posted a question on the MacNetwork forum about using an Asante Ethernet card on a Performa 6214CD. Before I had a chance to try David Nelson's solution of using a second unmanaged hub, I was sidetracked by a number of personal events (family deaths, RIFed, you name it...I must have been an axe murderer in a previous life.)
Anyway, tonight I pulled out my old Linksys 10BaseT hub, connected between the cable/DSL router and the ol' Performa, and it worked like a charm! Many thanks for your help! Michael J.
