Not sure.  It may have depended on the type of contract between CompUSA 
and Apple.  At the shop I work at we'd only charge for the actual length 
of time that it took w/ a 1hr min.  Unless you brought us pie.

If I had to guess (which I'm about to do), I'd guess every warranty 
repair shop is like that; the company pays you more when you do an 
in-warranty repair.  I don't think that Apple has a dessert clause in 
the contract, tho.
