Wouldn't credit card info typically also be encrypted by your browser
before it's even sent over your wireless LAN?

In any case, if you want "totally insecure," see my mailbox.  A thief
could take my credit card info out of my mailbox in about 5 seconds.  :/

Sometimes we miss the forest for the trees. ;)
