Greetings networking panditi,

Am trying to file share two powermacs (6100 and 7100,
both running OS 8.6) via appetalk, crossover cable and
farallon ethernet transcievers. The chooser on each end
cannot find the other mac. File sharing is on, appletalk is
on, users are harmonized.

Stumped, I ran System Profiler on the 7100 and was
informed along with all the data, that the startup disk had
been chosen but that SP couldn't determine its SCSI ID.

Is this pertinent? What is wrong? How do I correct it?
 Regards, John.
