I hope someone can help.

After years of use I have replaced my Performa 636 with a new iMac. I'm going to
give the 636 to the kids but want to accomplish a few things first.

#1) I want to network the 636 with the iMac. But I'm not sure where to start. I
think I need an ethernet card for the 636 but thats the limit of my knowledge now. I
am running OS7.5 on the 636, have 32meg of RAM and have replaced the hard drive with a
2gig unit. the iMac is a 600mhz version with OS9.2. (I just started using it so the
learning curve is pretty steep)

#2) In addition to the networking, I want to share my wife's cable modem for internet
access on both the iMac and the 636. (her company set here up with it. She uses an
IBM laptop.) In addition to the cable modem we've got a Linksis four port hub with
fire wall. It seems a shame to waste the empty ports on the hub. I figure there has
to be a way of using the hub to network the macs and share the coble modem.

Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

Glenn
