Hi Jason, Where the issue came up was in connection with cabel Internet access for four computers AND LAN connections between these same computers. As I understand it, since the Mac OS 9 is not multi-homing, you have to chose whether you will access the Internet or the LAN when using a cable modem (wonder if this has changed in OS X???). My UMAX Pulsar also has only one Ethernet socket on the built-in card, thus an added limitation for WANing and LANing it.
