Maybe.

There are only a few routers that have provisions for a dial-up connection.
USR, 3COM, Asante, SMC, are the ones I know of.

They should all have multiple ports on them. The part where I'm not clear
is: I believe using the ports on the router to connect all the machines
results in separate networks for each machine.

The machines would all be able to connect to the Internet/ISP, but I don't
know about talking amongst themselves.

Clarification would be appreciated from other, more knowledgeable listers.
