Greetings,
Sorry about the OT here but I need some quick info...
Is there a way to physically tell whether an enet cable is a straight cable
or a
crossover one before it is hooked up? I just got a 25ft white one that
says
compucable enhanced cat 5 patch cord tested to 350 mhz ..Loking at the
ends. they
are exactly the same...orange blue green brown...
Also have a 25ft blue one...wires are orange blue green brown on 1 end and
green
blue orange brown on the other...
this is looking left to right and with the little plastic clip on the
bottom side..

If this info doesn't help, what changes do I need to make in my settings to
hook up
a pismo and Imac se 400 and/or my performa 5200.
Thanks in advance!!!
Mike K
