Search versiontracker.com for MenuMeters. It's got throughput, memory, cpu, and disk access meters, graphs, etc. It's very small, runs next to the clock in the menubar, and pretty customizable. I've been very happy with it's results, but to get accurate bandwidth usage you'll have to set the refresh interval to lower level (I think the default is 1 second).
