Murphy. I have the opposite - I was just digging into working on a PPPoE/IPNR stability mess when the ISP upgraded their firmware and dropped PPPoE. :\
Lucky you! I keep hoping ISPs will see the light and eliminate the blight known as PPPoE.
Both my DSL ISPs, DirectTVDSL (left the market) used and Sonic use Static IPs which was a criteria for me.
