If you mean the original Graphite base station, I have seen a web page
describing a "hack" to add an external antenna. It involves cutting a
port in the case to allow a cable to connect to the card inside the case.
Essentially, the original Graphite was not much more than an Orinoco
Gold card, a modem and a power supply housed in a stylish case.
