[ some streaming radio stations don't play, since moving to broadband ]
The first one below is most important to me - as I have a
subscription to listen to match commentaries - but it needs passwords
to get in!
The next two are both Radio France stations.
ClassicFM is an independent station from UK.
The last one is a random "find" from Canada.

Can't try the first without pwd. The other four fail for me too - OS
X 10.4.3, QuickTime Pro 7.0.3, Flip4Mac 2.0.1 (WMV plug-in), Safari
2.0.2.
I even tried the classicfm in Ogg format - but it doesn't seem to be
transmitting at all.
More soon; I need to dig deeper.
Since I first posted, I have received a further response from
Wanadoo. They suggest either I perform a software update ( I am
operating on 10.3.3) or contact the shop where I bought the computer!
I've lost all confidence in them - what do you think?
Standard expected reply from an ISP. They're clueless. *shrug*
These all worked when you had dial-up? Was it with a different ISP?
Besides changing to broadband, what other changes have occured?
Try temporarily turning off any firewall... Just to make sure this
isn't a simple port blockage.
- Dan.
My Stockport County commentary worked perfectly well on dial-up. As did
ClassicFM. I hadn't tried the others until the problem surfaced. No,
it's the same ISP. Apart from a few downloads, I can't think of any
other changes.
I haven't got a firewall - never seemed necessary on dial-up and I've
not done anything about it so far. I must.
It's wonderful how perfect strangers, like yourself, are prepared to
put yourselves out to help in this way.
Merci beaucoup.
