My Airport base station went kerflooey, so I replaced it with a D-Link.
Very nice router, easy configuration. However. I have two Macs, both of
which can see the internet, but can't connect to each other. I have all
the same configurations in the Mac Preferences as I did with the
Airport. It is baffling me.

I have a feeling there's something I'm overlooking. Thoughts?

"There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an
oil shortage here in America. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody
bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The
reason for that is purely geographical. All our oil is in Alaska, Texas,
California, and Oklahoma. All our dipsticks are in Washington, DC."
