Yes - a user-space network stack would definitely shake things up, but I would anticipate that would be solved at the Go level, rather than at the user-of-Go level. Or we may have switched to a different implementation by then - who knows.
None of the options sound exactly stellar at this point, which is incredibly disheartening. Our scope is that this is an open source experiment and we’re trying to develop a mesh routing scheme that would work for lots of users globally. Therefore I’d say that we *hope* that it will be eventually in the hands of lots of users. That’s if our experiment succeeds of course!
