Move2Mac is a new app designed to move even the dullest PC user to higher ground
Detto Technologies has announced Move2Mac, which enables PC users to quickly and
easily move personal information from a Windows-based PC to a Mac. Scheduled to ship
in Q3, Move2Mac will move information such as application preferences, files and
folders, from the Windows platform to the Mac with ease.
"Move2Mac is an easy-to-use solution to help users moving to Apple," said Larry
Mana''o, CEO, Detto Technologies. "The easiest way to switch is with Move2Mac, which
complements the simplicity and elegance of Macs and makes the switch a snap."
"Seamless integration between Apple''s incredibly powerful, well designed computers,
Mac OS X, our super-modern operating system, and our digital lifestyle applications is
convincing a lot of people to switch to the Mac," said Ron Okamoto, Apple''s vice
president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "With Move2Mac, users can move from their
Windows PC and be up-and-running on their new Mac faster than ever."
Pricing and availability will be announced when Move2Mac ships in Q3, 2002.
