ATI drops 8500 price

The Canadian graphic chipmaker is clearing stock ahead of the likely introduction of
new retail cards for the Mac
Inside Mac Games reports that ATI has reduced the price of the Radeon 8500 Mac Edition
by $100 to $199 (SRP).
A quick check of the OWC ATI page shows the 8500 available for $198.
