The revised app sports tighter X integration and a better correction feature
MacSpeech has announced the immediate availability of an update to its flagship
product, iListen 1.5, for X.2.
The updated version of iListen 1.5 takes advantage of Mac OS X v10.2''s Universal
Access environment for improved speech recognition and easier navigation by voice. The
app''s Correction feature now works more proficiently with Mac OS X applications as
well.

said Andrew Taylor, CEO, MacSpeech. "This update takes iListen 1.5 to a higher level
in speech functionality on a computer."
"Mac OS X v10.2 is loaded with over 150 new features and applications to make

speech-recognition software for Mac OS X and we''re delighted that this valuable

The iListen 1.5 update is available for download. iListen 1.5 is available for sale
from the company''s online store and resellers.
Editor''s note: At the time of v1.5''s launch, MacSpeech''s chief evangelist stated
that, as written, he couldn''t recommend that consumers buy the product. Given that
the company has now updated the product without adding a "dot-one" to the version
number it seems there was something to what he said.
