Jobs: Not Accepting the Presidential Nomination This Time Around
By Remy Davison, Insanely Great Mac
January 27th 2003
All the CEO's Men.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs has "seen the website" calling for him his candidacy in the
presidential race, but he's not interested in running. Not now.
""He was flattered," William Foster, webmaster of the Jobs-for-president site, said,
"but it was a job he wasn't interested in having. He wanted to concentrate on his
family and his two companies."
Wired News reports that Jobs' personal assistant said that the iCEO had seen the site,
but would not nominate, due to his family and corporate commitments.
Jobs is well known as a supporter of the Democratic party and has stayed at the White
House when Clinton held the presidency. The Clintons have also stayed at Jobs' home.
