Apple selling IRIS OCR products

IRIS Group has announced that Apple is selling its OCR products for Mac OS in Apple's 
online and brick-n-mortar retail stores in the US and Europe (online). 

"We are delighted to start this business relationship with Apple Computers and proud 
to have such a prestigious international partner. This partnership is a real 
recognition of IRIS Mac OS X products' quality. It will help IRIS to generate 
awareness of its range of products and to penetrate the Mac OS X American and European 
markets," comments Pierre De Muelenaere, CEO and president. 

IRIS Mac OS X OCR products marketed by Apple: 
 ... IRISPEN II Executive, USB pen scanner;
 ... IRIS Business Card Reader II, compatible with Apple's Address Book and M$ 
Entourage.

A search of the Apple Store (US, online) revealed IRIS' business card scanner is 
available.
