I basically want the same functionality as the Apple Address book server and Calendar Server, but I don't have a Mac OS X Server machine around, and I'd much prefer (for a bunch of reasons) to have our Debian system as the server. It appears that getting calendar server to work on Debian, while it is a bit stranger than you might expect (changing file system mount settings for example) is doable, and works fairly well. However, it doesn't seem as if Address Book Server is all that there yet.
Any advice on how to get address book server syncing on Debian?
I've seen the server at www.addressbookserver.com - which is quite separate to the Apple Address Book Server, and appears to work via Sync Services rather than a centralised server architecture. Any experience with it? Otherwise, anyone had any luck with getting the apple cardserver working on Linux?
Or anyone have any other suggestions?
We are deliberately moving away from NUDC, as development seems to have ceased, and the peer to peer based architecture of BusySync doesn't seem what we are after.

        Regards
                David
