causing problem.
I did restore smaller partitions to larger new ones but I think I
have done that before without a problem.

PS I don't use the Migration Assistant because I have multiple
partitions and don't store all my a files in my hone directory etc.

Hi Ashley,
We ran into the same problem. A fully updated retail (off the shelf
disc) install of 10.6.3 is 10D578 as of today.
The Mid 2010 MacBook Pro computers ship with a later version of
10.6.3...here's what MacTracker 5.2 shows:
15" MacBook Pro - Mid 2010

17" MacBook Pro - Mid 2010
MacBookPro6,1

13" MacBook Pro - Mid 2010
MacBookPro7,1
10.6.3(10D2125)
Since Apple doesn't provide post-10.6.3 device drivers to the
public, all you can do is start with the OSX install that came on
that computer and migrate your stuff over manually. Or, as you
stated, wait for 10.6.4. Heck, if you have an ADC login... ;)
