Well manual connection is fine for me. But my users won't be able to comprehend
any command line business. So, I've got to come up with something foolproof.

I suppose I might be better off using AFP or FTP where I can define a custom
Mount Point easier.
The problem I'll run into with AFP is that I have windows clients to support
and need to make things easy for them as well.
It's my understanding that FTP would require a client app for write operations.
Is it true that Finder does not support PUT to an FTP share?
I also thought about using Samba, but most of the data will be Audio Files and
Project files created on mac. I worry about loss of Resource forks in that case.

Seemingly WebDAV would be a good choice for cross platform file sharing.
I suppose there might be a way to create an Automator app that would make the
connection and setup the custom Mount automatically.
I'm just trying to make this a simple as possible for my users.

Best,
Tim Roberts
